With a professional focus on cultural policy, cultural and creative industries, strategic management in the arts, and intercultural dialogue, my publishing record spans over two decades. It includes authored and edited books, peer-reviewed journal articles, policy papers, research reports, and book chapters in both English and Macedonian. This diverse body of writing reflects an ongoing commitment to bridging academic research with practical engagement across the Western Balkans, Nordic countries, and broader Europe.
Key research interests include cultural and creative industries, diversity, music business, arts leadership and strategic development, the societal value of the arts, and the role of AI and digital transformation within the cultural sector. Recent publications include the monograph Cultural and Creative Industries in the Western Balkans (Routledge, 2025); the edited volume Re-thinking Arts Management (Sibelius Academy, 2017); a co-edited study with Franco Bianchini on cultural policy and urban development; and contributions to policy platforms such as the Cultural Relations Platform. My conference papers and policy reports frequently examine the role of strategic management in navigating change and fostering innovation in public arts institutions.
